The grape seed extract, Oligomeric Proantho Cyanidins (OPC) is a high effective free radical scavenger. It can clean the free radical in our body, protect body cells and tissues from being hurt by free radicals, and prevent allergic, cancer, growing old all these diseases that related to free radicals. Besides that, grape seed extract is rich in vitamin E which is a famous antioxidant, so grape seed can also prevent various diseases and keep skin and muscles healthy.
Many people know that grape seed plays an important role in keeping healthy, but some people may have questions of using grape seed. They think they only have to swallow the grape seeds while they are eating grapes to be healthy, but they are wrong. Eating grape seeds directly can’t make any positive effect, in contrast, the whole grape seed can’t be digested, so it becomes a burden to stomach, may even lead to a inflamed stomach lining or peptic ulcer. Therefore, grape seeds can’t be eaten directly. For your own safety, we suggest taking refined and processed grape seeds, such as grape seed extract.
